DUALR3 Smart Roller Shutter Switch - Wi-Fi and eWeLink-Remote

The SONOFF DUALR3 is a smart switch with 2 channels. It allows you, for example, to control a roller shutter or 2 lamps remotely with your phone.

Smart Switch

You can easily install this smart switch behind your existing switch. This also allows you to continue using your existing switch to control your roller shutter or other devices. Due to the small housing, the smart switch fits in almost any mounting box, except for metal mounting boxes as these block the Wi-Fi signal. This housing also protects against heat, fire and humidity, among other things. In addition, thanks to the supplied bracket, it is possible to mount the roller shutter switch on a din-rail. In addition to a phase wire, you also need a neutral wire, but this is not always present.

Roller Shutter Switch

Thanks to the motor mode of the SONOFF DUALR3, it is possible to operate roller shutters, awnings, roller blinds, garage doors or other bi-directional motors of up to 240 watts or 1 ampere. Among other things, the motor mode allows you to turn on only one direction at a time and to calibrate the motor to go no further than the shutter can go.

Current Measurement

This Wi-Fi switch can measure power consumption. This not only allows you to see the power consumption via the app, but also allows you to automatically calibrate your motor, see the position of the motor in the app and set a maximum power consumption at which your device should turn off.

Wi-Fi Switch

This smart roller shutter switch works on Wi-Fi. This allows this switch to instantly connect wirelessly to the internet without the need for another separate hub.

In addition, the DUALR3 also supports eWeLink-Remote. This allows this smart switch to be controlled directly by eWeLink-Remote remotes like the SONOFF R5 or R5W.

EWeLink

Through the eWeLink app on your Android or iOS smartphone, it is possible to control this SONOFF switch from anywhere, including remotely. In addition, the eWeLink app allows you to set up this switch entirely as you wish. For example, you can set a smart scene to automatically raise your blinds at sunrise.

Compatibility

Thanks to eWeLink, you can pair this Wi-Fi switch with various services. You can pair the SONOFF DUALR3 with Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings, among others, through eWeLink. This also makes it possible to control your Wi-Fi roller shutter switch using voice assistants such as Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Samsung Bixby.

In addition, it is possible to pair this SONOFF switch with Home Assistant. You can use the eWeLink add-on for Home Assistant for this purpose.
