BASICR2 Smart Switch - Wi-Fi

The SONOFF BASICR2 is a smart switch. It allows you to use your phone to remotely control a lamp, or any other device with a power consumption of up to 10 amperes and an output of up to 2200 watts.

Smart Switch

This SONOFF switch has a sturdy, fireproof and flame-retardant housing that can be screwed to a surface. The appropriate screws are included for this purpose. In addition, in combination with the SONOFF DR DIN rail tray, it is possible to attach this Wi-Fi switch to a DIN rail.

Wi-Fi Switch

This smart switch works on Wi-Fi. This allows it to be directly connected to your Wi-Fi network, without the use of an additional bridge.

EWeLink

This SONOFF switch works with the eWeLink app. This allows you to control this smart switch with your Android or iOS smartphone. Through the eWeLink app, you can also configure all sorts of things. For example, you can create a smart scene. With this, you can, for example, automatically switch on your lights at certain times or if you also have a SONOFF sensor, for example, switch on your lamp automatically when motion is detected.

Compatibility

EWeLink allows you to pair this Wi-Fi switch with various services. You can pair the SONOFF BASICR2 with the likes of Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings via eWeLink. This makes it possible to use voice assistants like Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Samsung Bixby to control this smart switch.

In addition, it is possible to pair this SONOFF switch with Home Assistant. You can use the eWeLink add-on for Home Assistant for this purpose.
